This has been a very confusing time! The blog now has a static front page “Home” with links […]
A new blog theme…a new challenge.
I’ve no idea how this one works 😆
It has some fancy front page gimmicks which I am trying very hard to figure out…such as this one. This is an “aside” post (shrugs). I reckon it’ll appear at the side 😀 , but as I write I have no idea if this will be the case. Praying might be a good idea…
The Fatdog Broadcasting Corporation would like to apologise for any loss of transmission encountered by viewers today. We’re […]
A map showing Upper Loch Torridon. The big ugly circle hovers over Eilean a Chaoil, a wonderful wee “island”.
The path ran from Shieldaig past the primary school then down the west side of the headland.
The Fatdog stares over the bleak rocky moorland in the hope of better things.
Seaweed the width of car tyres!
The beach at the old sheilings – what this was for I’ve no idea.
Now this is unexpected! Our monster ascent lies just behind the boats. Boats? Did I say Boats? There are boats between us and that wee “hill”? That means there is also water between us and that wee hill! That can’t be good.
The tide is out so The Fatdog and I scoot up the “hill” or as we now realise “island” for a better view. J opts to stay were the tides meet! She’s the little red dot in the photo.
As J checks the map she realises that where she is standing is normally under water!
The view up Upper Loch Torridon – Liathach (left hand side) and Beinn Damh (right hand side)
This didn’t half feel out of place…but a great facility with the school just over the track.
Heading back into the beautiful setting of Shieldaig.
Great place for coffee and soup!
With no walking this weekend it was time to dig out some of the photos from last years […]
Welcome to our new home 😀 Again my apologies to those who are having to fiddle about with […]
