I promised myself I would never, ever, activate the old blog again but with normal life seemingly collapsing by the hour I reckon now is the time to dust off the keyboard and join the fight to lighten the mood as best I can.
The world is now a very different place from where we left it all those years back.
With both UK and US electorates having demonstrated what can be done when applying one’s warped sense of humour to the voting process, never thinking for a minute that viral Armaggedon was just around the corner, you have to wonder if a lot of people are now thinking “Oops…I think we may have got that one just a wee bit wrong!” Exhibiting unparalleled levels of buffoonery our respective elected leaders have wangled themselves into high office and now the proverbial whatsit has hit the fan. From my (quite frankly) happy perspective of social distancing I will watch with interest to see how that pans out.
