“MERRY CHRISTMAS!”

.

Have a Merry Christmas everyone…and a big thank you to you all for continuing to drop in this year.  I hope you have enjoyed the “Tails”.  We’re looking forward to building up a head of steam for a few more once the Christmas rush is past.  Have fun!

    What! That’s it then?

Kitchen duties, I reckon. What’s on the menu, Ken?

    Have a good one.

Hi Alan…have a great time this Christmas. 😀

I’m pretty certain there won’t be any walking between now and Christmas Day Alan, so I reckoned there wouldn’t be much by way of blog posts. But you never know…something might crop up worth mentioning. And you’re quite right – kitchen duties await.

It will be a bit different this year…there’s no big Christmas dinner!

Everybody is elsewhere this year so we’re on our own (…sob….), sort of. 😀

The Bleating Sheep and her boyfriend Mr. Alloa will be coming round in the evening and I will be doing a de-constructed Christmas Dinner then…as a tapas! So, it will be lots of small dishes using the components of the normal xmas pig-out.

      eg

tagliatelle of smoked salmon with a concasse of lime and ginger melon

pork and chesnut stuffing balls with cranberry jus

tower of gratin dauphinoise with balsamic red onion and pine nuts

stir fried shredded sprouts and smokey bacon

      etc.

Bet you’re sorry you asked. 😆

The above only represents possibilities…reality may be more difficult to achieve. 😉

Cheeky! 😆 The Fatdog growled something about you, teeth and nuts. Didn’t quite catch it…maybe she just said “Merry Christmas!” 😉

You almost have to do a bit of hiking with a diet like yours! Christmas is a time for indulgence, but not to overlook what it is we’re celebrating. I look forward to being able to
read your 2012 posts in a timely manner. I moved last week end, and have many boxes
to unpack, but no time limit. Got the stuff I need daily, and the rest can wait.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to the Ken Brown Clan…..the real one, and the online virtual one!

What’ll be the leftovers situation on Boxing Day? I’m only about 45 minutes away.
